1. About AuScholar and these terms
AuScholar (ABN 58 289 016 088) provides the AuScholar service. You can contact us at support@auscholar.com.au.
By accessing or using AuScholar, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What the service does
AuScholar is an independent scholarship and grant discovery service. It lets you answer questionnaire questions, compare those answers with selected opportunities, view ranked results, follow links to official providers and, with an account, save scholarships.
AuScholar does not provide professional, financial, education or legal advice, decide eligibility, award funding or submit applications for you.
3. Scholarship information and matching
Coverage is selective and does not include every opportunity in Australia. Scholarship information, values, dates and requirements can change after they are checked. Matching and rankings are informational and may be incomplete or incorrect.
A match does not guarantee eligibility, funding or application success. Official provider rules and decisions control each opportunity. You are responsible for checking eligibility, dates, application instructions and current availability on the official provider website before acting.
4. Accounts and younger users
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and providing accurate, current information. Do not impersonate another person or use an account without permission.
If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian when accepting these terms or purchasing AuScholar Plus where required. Scholarship providers may apply their own age and consent requirements.
5. Free and Plus plans
The Free plan shows up to three confirmed scholarship matches. AuScholar Plus unlocks all additional confirmed matches, shows complete scholarship identities and details across your results, and lets signed-in users save scholarships without the Free plan limit.
Plus unlocks access to information within AuScholar. It does not make an otherwise unsuitable opportunity eligible or guarantee a successful application.
6. Plus subscriptions, cancellation and refunds
AuScholar Plus costs A$9.99 per month, including GST. It is a recurring monthly subscription that continues until cancelled. Stripe processes subscription payments and provides the billing-management portal linked from your AuScholar account.
You can cancel through the billing portal. When cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period, Plus access continues until that paid period ends and the subscription will not renew after that date. Review the effective date shown by Stripe before confirming a cancellation.
Refund requests are considered case by case. Contact support@auscholar.com.au with the relevant account and payment details. Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Acceptable use
You must use AuScholar lawfully. You must not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, misuse another person's account or information, scrape the service in a way that harms availability, or use AuScholar or provider information to misrepresent your circumstances.
8. External providers and links
Official scholarship and grant websites are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. AuScholar does not control their availability, content, security, decisions or application processes. A link does not mean that AuScholar is affiliated with or endorsed by the provider.
9. Intellectual property
The AuScholar interface, branding and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Provider names, scholarship information and linked materials remain the property of their respective owners. You may use AuScholar for personal scholarship discovery but must not reproduce or commercially exploit the service without permission.
10. Availability, changes and suspension
AuScholar may change, interrupt or withdraw features, plans or content. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, service protection, non-payment or a serious breach of these terms.
We may update these terms. The current update date will appear on this page, and we will communicate material changes where reasonably practical.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AuScholar is not responsible for provider decisions, missed deadlines, reliance on outdated or incomplete information, external-site failures, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
